UFI Filters Hydraulics reconfirms the Quality and Environment certifications even during the COVID-19 emergency
In July 2020 UFI Filters Hydraulics successfully completed the fourth IATF 16949: 2016 certification cycle of the Quality Management System of the automotive sector during a critical context affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This important goal reconfirms the ability of the company to effectively deal with an unforeseen and difficult situation. UFI Filters Hydraulics was able to quickly reorganise its business processes in order to guarantee worker safety and to apply smart working in all suitable working environments, without any impact on quality results.
The performance of our Company remained in line with the expectations of customers in the automotive sector, thus guaranteeing the continuity of product delivery. Even in non-automotive sector market, for which the company Quality System has been certified according to the ISO 9001 standard since 2003, our Company has guaranteed continuity of delivery with satisfactory results, with thanks also to important partnerships with reliable suppliers.
In recent years, the process of further development and sharing of know-how and synergies between the hydraulic division and UFI Group represented an important strategic step in order to strengthen our organisation and enhance the sense of belonging to UFI Group, with the aim of creating a larger and even more competitive reality on both national and international market.
This integration has favoured a significant evolution of the organisational methods and tools typical of large companies, while maintaining the flexibility of local processes that can respond effectively to the strong variability typical of the hydraulic filtration market, which includes special products for customers and standard products in the catalogue. This approach allowed our Company to obtain quality certifications according to the IATF 16949: 2016 and ISO 9001: 2015 standards integrated with those of the UFI FILTERS Spa Group.
In December 2020, our Company achieved the renewal of the Environmental Management System certification according to the ISO 14001 standard (the first obtained dates back to 2003). This process was carried out remotely and completed with full success, without any non-compliance. In this context, the main objectives are the reduction of the impact on the environment through the transformation of production processes with innovative technologies and the design and production of Green products. The new ISO 14001: 2015 certificate, available on our Company website, appears for the first time with the new Company name UFI FILTERS HYDRAULICS Spa with the hope of successfully continuing the path started over 25 years ago.
